Just announced live during this week’s FiGGYZ livestream were the results of our Shenmue FiGGYZ Wave 3 Character Poll!
You all came out in force to vote for the four characters you most wanted to see transformed into FiGGYZ, and the response was incredible.
Here are the results:
As you can see, the top four characters were Guizhang, Goro, Niao Sun, and Ryo on a Forklift!
We’re absolutely over the moon with the results and can’t wait to see the FiGGYZ team get to work on the pixel art and backgrounds for these new additions. Although Wave 2 is still yet to be released, we’ve already had a chance to see the final characters and backgrounds, and we have to say, they look absolutely stunning.
There’s some exciting Shenmue merchandise on the horizon, and we can’t wait for everyone to get their hands on it. We’ll let you know as soon as Wave 2 and the upcoming Wave 3 have confirmed release dates.

It’s fantastic to see just how far this has spread. While we’re still waiting for news on Shenmue 3 Enhanced, or indeed any new Shenmue project, it’s great to see Shenmue making headlines once again. Now, with brand-new merchandise on the way, it really feels like Shenmue is (sort of) back!
