Over on Bluesky, ININ Games, the new publisher for Shenmue 3 have recently been teasing a little about their potential upcoming plans.
In a reply to a ININ Games post gushing over the front cover of an EDGE magazine, user CABBAC asked the question “So when is the game hitting Xbox and Switch 2?”. To which ININ themselves replied with a tongue in cheek response, “I will let you know. 😀”.
Whilst obviously not a direct confirmation, it had already been previously expected by the fans for ports to other platforms, as rumours had already been circulating. This response could be read as perhaps suggesting that the publisher will let fans know when they are able to share news. By not actually denying that these platforms are not currently being considered, it seems promising that they indeed are!

This is certainly exciting news for fans waiting for Shenmue 3 to hit these other platforms. We’ll be sure to keep an eye on how things progress and let you know as soon as anything is confirmed / announced!
Finally, we also shared a screenshot from Shenmue Dojo Discord member “WhiteLikePaste” (who had been using the Classic Camera Mod available for the PC version of Shenmue 3) across our social media platforms, which again received an awesome friendly response by ININ Games:
