Ask the Person Below you a Question?

A: Easy answer; 3 used cars and 7(8) years of higher education in the UK (aka tuition fees). Making a point of it as I see it as purchasing education rather than getting it for free (as I would have had I stayed in Norway).

Q: Speaking of money, if you won Euromillions/megaLottery/equivalent what would be the silliest thing you'd spend money on? Think something you always kind of wanted but isn't your typical clear debt, but mom a house, new car etc.

A: Buy a Boeing 747 or closest I can afford,I'm sure no one will let me fly it and I've no idea where to store it.

Q: Were there any situations where you saw/heard or experienced something but nobody believes you if you tell them about it?

I am going to try and add a twist to this topic and encourage people to answer their own question.

A. I was once in a porn film and have slept with a couple porn starts. Only one really being (somewhat) famous.

Q. How long have you had your phone for?

I have had my phone for almost 5 years. Had to get it fixed a couple times but it was worth it. Camera is okay, good in a lot of sunlight, and 100% useful for what I need it for; browsing, YouTube etc. Only problem is it does crash every now and again and internal space is limited. Also, even though it is perfectly capable of handling most apps, some older ones I can't download as it's been locked out my software version and being Android, I have stopped receiving the latest software updates a long time ago.

A: Had my phone for three years, I think. An iPhone 6s. It's OK but the battery is shit and I haven't updated it in two years so woohoo.

Q: What's you signature dish? You know, the meal you nail every time and everybody dig.

A. For a small enough group, there's a certain rhythm to steaks on the grill coupled with thinly sliced potatoes, but I've recently taken to a sausage gnocchi soup with a cream base (I'm now drooling like Homer Simpson, I don't know why).

Q: What's a school subject/course you wish you took more seriously?

A: If you'll indulge my (Aristotelian-flavored) philosophical training for a moment

No time to answer a question at this time. Just popping in to say I too was trained by an old blind Aristotelian master. There are so few us left, like the Jedi.

7(8) years of higher education in the UK

Whoa. Long time. Did you become a professor?

Computer repair/programming.

Name a video game you loved, which seems considered bad/misunderstood by most you've read/heard? (Examples: D2/Syberia/Evil Twin/Omikron, for me.)

A. Megaman Legends, most people write it off due to bad controls, but once you get use to them I really don't think that they are that bad.

Q. Favorite Video Game Publisher?

Q. Favorite Video Game Publisher?
A: Used to be Sega, but they've really disappointed me this gen, so I'd say Namco Bandai.

Q: You have to choose only one dish to eat everyday for the rest of your life, what will you pick?

A.Ribs and chips with orange Fanta.

Q.Do you have one overall goal in life that you are working towards?

For me, it is being in a position where I don't have to have a high stress job. Every day I am thinking about how I can get rid of this mortgage ASAP. I have 16 hears left and if I can somehow knock of another 6 years within that time and finish it by the time I am 40, I'll be a very happy man. Will still need to work but can probably then take 6-12 month off and can work a very low stress job.

A: The standard riches and success. Don’t want kids, so my legacy will have to be creations.

When it comes to specific things though I’m determined to see the galaxy (through the lens of the night sky, obviously), and getting a flat close to town (the city centre)

Q: What’s your hangover cure?

A. Megaman Legends, most people write it off due to bad controls, but once you get use to them I really don't think that they are that bad.

Hmm I've never met someone who doesnt like Legends, although a lot haven't played it, somehow.

My hangover cure is preemptive hydration and plenty of water during the night, plus a full stomach before drinking. If I still drink too much, orange juice and a burger and water throughout.

Favorite console generation? (Me, the 6th gen, followed close by 4th and 8th)

A - That's tough. 6th gen was the generation where I could walk into a store, look around and buy a game I have never heard of before. It was the generation that gave me so many multiplayer experiences; Halo, the WWF games, MGS2, Conflict: Desert Storm, Midnight Club and so much more. However, The 7th generation it has to be as I fell in love with so many games, the standouts being Mass Effect, BioShock, Heavy Rain and so many other experiences.

Q - Have you ever met someone from this form?

Not from here, but the MGS forum I defected from the old Dojo to in 2006ish, yes very briefly met a forum friend in downtown Chicago

Autumn or spring? (Autumn)

A: Spring; my favourite season of all.

My ideal temperature is 19 degrees Celsius, cloudy, a slight rain and no wind.

That's a typical spring day in Toronto lol.

Q: What is your favourite gaming controller ever? I'm talking feel, design, everything.

Completely concur on cloudy, brisk misty weather, but in autumn, rather.

Tough choice between Gamecube and Dreamcast. Both melt so perfect into my hands. Gotta go DC per usual Sega bias. Couldn't give a fuck about second stick (enjoy Fur Fighters, MDK2, Solider of Fortune, Quake 3 and Half Life perfectly well), nor mind the stick itself or d-pad, which get lots of hate.

Apparently the board has the capability for another stick/input below the face buttons, perhaps for a future controller like what Sega did with the Saturn 3D pad, but obviously wasn't made. Would've been cool, but I'm content without the choice. Until Shenmue HD, I actually thought a 2nd stick might be slightly nice, but after noticing how awkward walking and looking in all directions with both--especially trigger walking is worse on PS4/XONE than Dreamcast--I don't care the slightest anymore.

Great credit or great wealth?

For me, its the DC controller as well, with the Genesis 6 button a close second.

I use ABXY for movement on Fur Fighters and MDK2 as well and I can confirm it makes it MUCH easier; a bit of getting used to, but significantly easier than a, "traditional," control scheme.

A: Great wealth.

With money, you don't need to give a shit about credit lol, so long as you don't spend beyond your means.

You'd be surprised how many people I see every week, make a ton of money, spend beyond their means and then can't afford a lending product, because their credit sucks; cut the beast off at the head and you won't have to worry about the rest of it.

Or, to put it more bluntly, keep it in your pants lol.

Q: Are you a fan of Bubble Tea and if so, what is your favourite flavor?

No, although I have been intrigued by it, I have never got round to trying it. Is it worth the hype? (And sorry to waste your question).

Q. Despite clicking "Stay logged in" I keep having to sign into the forum. Does this happen to you and do you know a fix?

A: Please direct all support-related queries to our helpful and friendly staff. Thank you for your time, and we hope you enjoy your stay at the Dojo.

Q: What’s your go-to drink?
