Shenmue has made it’s return to the Classic FM Hall of Fame! Coming in at #124! Possibly the highest placing video game score so far (we need to check this)
Update 7th April 2026 – Shenmue is the highest placing video game score on the list!
As many will remember, Shenmue first made its appearance in 2016 at entry #144. The highest new entry at the time. As the years passed Shenmue fell out of favour…. UNTIL Today!
This is another win for the Shenmue community. Surely, the powers that be cannot ignore this for too much longer right? Topping the BAFTA Poll last year, Classic FM Hall of Fame. Are the stars coming together? We shall see!
