An exciting new Shenmue III VR mod is currently being showcased by Discord user Tensai37, and it looks seriously impressive.
The mod uses the UEVR injector, a tool designed to bring full VR support to Unreal Engine titles, allowing players to experience Shenmue III in virtual reality. From the footage shared so far, the results look fantastic, offering fans a completely new way to step into Ryo Hazuki’s world.
Whether it’s picking up objects, taking in the atmosphere of Bailu and Niaowu, or getting into fights and busting your fists in full VR glory, this mod looks set to offer a fresh and immersive perspective on Shenmue III.
The videos already look amazing, and it is another brilliant example of the creativity and passion still alive within the Shenmue community.
