Coming off of the success of August’s Tweetathon the community came out in force once again and was rewarded with something truely amazing.
#LetsGetShenmue 4 and #Shenmue trended a combined total of 5 times within a 24 hour period from September 4th into September 5th.
The first sighting came on the afternoon of the 4th:
Pictured: Trending between 1pm and 2pm UK Time
Following this – both #LetsGetShenmue4 and #Shenmre trended from 8pm UK time across the night, with a combined near on 7000 posts – smashing August’s Tweetathon of approximately 4700 posts

But… in a really unexpected turn of events both hashtags trended once more between 8am and 11am UK time and were reflected in the USA as well!

Even more unexpected was the combined number of posts coming in at over 8300 – smashing the previous nights posts and August’s tweetathon at the same time!
