Your right. I don't know how anyone can confuse "your" and "you're" after spending 2 hours on the internet. There pretty stupid if you ask me.

I like men, in general, that's the peeps I fall in love with and generally enjoy spending time with and yeah, all that stuff that goes with those things ... and yet these last 48 hours have made me want to punch someone in the balls, almost any balls, almost anyone with balls. I'm far too well behaved and capable of logic thought to do so, but there it is.

Well, hope you don't get to meet Yu Suzuki in person while in that state of mind. We still need Shenmue 3.

Ancestry.com sent me a Spodify playlist based on my DNA results. I..I don't think this is quite right... ?Screenshot_20180928-210641.png

just done binge watching stranger things 1 and 2 on netflix.
i like the concept of the show but it seems a bit weak in places.. it definitely relies heavily on nostalgia and takes a lot of ideas from 1980s movies.

anyone else see it?

Yeah, I like the show but the second was repetitive in ways and predictable. Looking forward to the new season and hope it gets more unique.

Yeah, loved season I bit disappointed in II. It was scarier when they kept the monster a bit hidden. Impressed by the young actors and actresses though, all awesome, though didn't care much for Eleven's arch in season II.

Impressed by the young actors and actresses though,
They're the best. Normally I hate how kids are portrayed in movies and TV, if it isn't bad writing it's terrible acting but this is something ST nails, they are behaving like kids but it's still engaging to an adult audience.

those kids are extremely confident actors. ive heard that almost all those kids have movie rolls lined up.. i find it funny how young actors in the past would almost be black listed after making it big in one movie, like mark hamill or Carrie Fisher..but now young actors are given tones of movie/ project rolls.. although sometimes they are not the "best" (like daisy ridley etc )

..its been done before in tron 2 with quorra and in other movies but there is something intresting about an almost alien character like 11 in the stranger things, who has very little understanding of their surroundings.

If you liked Stranger Things for its retro feel, check out Summer of '84.
I had read mixed reviews before watching, but was positively surprised by how entertaining it turned out.

Finn (sp) Wolfhard was in It already.

And what about Daisy Ridley?

Apart from being beyond sexy (one of the VERY few people I find attractive that is flat as a board), she's a pretty damn good actress.

sorry i dont know what you mean by "Finn (sp) Wolfhard was in It already"

regarding daisy.. personally i dont think shes a good actress, same with john boyega.. Jennifer Lawrence and a few others lol.. i just feel like the big wigs in the movie industry just grab mediocre actors and put the in AAA movies simply because they have a fan following..because they worked on something popular like Game of Thrones, or the new Star Wars etc.

Finn Wolfhard is the kid in Stranger Things and he was in It already, last year :)

Lawrence is an overrated hack and I personally, don't even find her as pretty as people make her out to be. Boyega is pretty good, thoough I don't think he's winning Oscars anytime soon.

Daisy is great for action roles and her performances in the Star Wars films have shown it, I feel.

Loved this when I saw it at the cinema near the end of august. Went way darker than I was expecting as well. I think it's in some ways the victim of just being in production at around the same time as something like Stranger Things, as well as IT. Sort of a blessng and a curse because you know you'll find an audience, but at the same time you'll end up getting compared to things that had a much larger budget than you.

Still really enjoyed the film though!
