Apparently, from what I could gather, they were people that worshipped Abraham (which completely makes sense, if you know about Mo/Muhammad's background).
 
I have been out of the forums for several months, my job change was not too good, but I left now I am back in to video game business, so I am quite happy. Hopefully with all the Shenmue 3 stuff I will be more active again

I feel ya. I was trying to listen to an album an hour ago, but a neighbor bought a new lawn mower (it is as soft spoken as a t-rex strapped to a bear) and he's been mowing for two hours.
When I stop posting at the Dojo, presume it's because I committed a crime of passion.
 
I keep seeing this game's box art online and every time for a split-second I misread it as "Tales of Arse". :oops:

Maybe you are knowing this: You heard a song in your childhood and there was a melody in that song that was really annoying. And sometimes that melody comes back in your mind. I got this problem with one song. I don't know the name but that song from the 80s has a melody that was repeated between Refrain and verse.
 
I've got five gallons of orange jelly and a paddling pool to put it in. Anyone fancy a wrestle?

Just realised how unfit I am. Just fitted artificial grass to my front garden by myself. My neighbor got the front done and it took 3 guys to do it. I have little experience with DIY but thought I would give it a go and if I fuck it up, I'll just pay to get it professionally done. Anyway, I hired a couple machines, removed the turf, laid down a layer of sand and flattened it using a whacker, weed membrane, artificial grass and then trimmed it down to side. Still need to makes the edges look a lot neater and lay down some sand on top bust for the most part it looks good.

Back to my health, after I got it all done, I felt like a player a 2 hour football match. My legs and most of my body was aching. Need to get my health back in order.

Look on the bright side: at least you won't have to cut it ever again. Just hoover it instead.

I'm gonna try and guess either "Just can't get enough" by Depeche Mode or "Don't You Want Me" by the human league. Those are my shots in the dark.
 
Back to work tomorrow after two weeks off. First two weeks in a very long time that I have genuinely had off. Previously, son got ill so spent most/all of my time off in hospital and caring for him at home. Other times I have continued to check emails, do work here and there and overall never felt removed from work. This time around, I feel like I have forgotten how to do stuff at work as I totally disconnected; removing emails from from, blocking work sim etc.
 
I'm probably going to be looking for a new job yet again. Last 3 jobs I have been in for just over a year before moving. This one is weird though.

A couple months ago I was getting some of the highest rating during my appraisals and getting paid a near full bonus. Then there was a two week period where my boss was away and I was asked to keep an eye on a project his was heading. Not having a clue what is going on, I asked a lot of questions and asked for help. Boss comes back I am given a formal review because of "knowledge gaps". Nothing came from it as every point was easily swatted down but now I find myself in a similar position with more bull shit accusations coming my way. Again, everything is going fine. I leave a team night out a little early to go home as my wife is pregnant and does like to be home by herself. The look I get from my boss and boss's boss is very telling.

Next morning I get a call from my boss who says I looked very distance last night and asking if everything is okay. I say yes, just had to get home early, but the conversation quickly changes to we need to see you again for another performance review. Completely bull shit and completely out of the blue.

Stepped out of my front door this morning and felt the lack of air, mixed with the sheer amount of sudden heat and thought "Oh god no."

I guess summer has officially begun in the UK, and will end...by about 5pm.
 
There is 35ºC in Madrid and the AC in the office has been broken since this morning. So right now I want to kill some people
