A Gamer's Journey (Shenmue Documentary) goes to Kickstarter

I am happy to hear it was funded :)

I also backed the minute I saw the news.
 
Oh fantasic! Really thrilled by that the community has chipped into getting the green light. It might be a tough task to reach the Shenmue 3 input stretch goal in less than 30 days which is what I really want. But this is brilliant news and just shows there is a strong appeal for this series!

With the 3rd of August on Friday there might be a mini surge. Plus there might be more rewards coming which may entice people. For example imagine if they did a couple of signed copies of the HD releases? People would grab them.
 
I really hope we reach that $35,000 stretch goal. I'm surprised it's not doing better, but as others have said, there's still time and there may well be a surge on the 3rd.
 
The biggest thing for this community since Shenmue 3 and the release announcements. Everything is going so well right now.

Oh man, that is a great idea. I was considering importing a Japanese copy to have both versions (especially if there end up being differences) but getting an autographed copy instead would be amazing.

I'm sure if they added that though, the tier would be filled up before I have time to switch to it. ?
 
Just for reference. A post went out early hours (UK time) saying new tiers are onthe way possibly today.

As I shared on the Facebook pages, I plan on making my video in Dobuita. I have also enjoyed your previous projects such as the Ninja Turtles one and I have the up most of faith that A Gamer's Dream shall surpass it. I hope to meet you guys when you visit Japan later this fall.

I'm going to increase my pledge. That got me thinking, is it worth promoting this kickstarter as a core part of the 3rd tweetathon? Maybe even a campaign to encourage people to increase their pledge if they can? As well as promoting the campaign for those who haven't seen it yet?
