While I don't mind Niao Sun's new design in Shenmue 3, I really dislike her hair color. I think the black hair makes her look more menacing and contrasts better with everything else.

Prefer the red hair myself.
The whole design changed so the black hair no longer meshes well with her new outfit.
Overall prefer the S3 Design over the original, except for the face.

No way in hell some of those shots aren’t doctored up a bit lol. Pretty common with screenshots for any game though.
Regardless, it’s remarkable how much better this game looks visually compared to that teaser trailer a couple years ago.

Just imagine the physics on her...hair ? But seriously, I love her new look.
Didn't see many comments about it but Ren's face is perfect.
In fact, everything here looks amazing. Kinda wish I didn't look at some of it but OH WELL. Staying clear of the other thread and full game previews (won't be reading this one).
The casino is a cool idea for DLC (that turtle racing table lmao). The people that were getting upset about Shenmue III having arcades must be in total meltdown mode right now ?

I really hope this converts that crowd of Yu arcade fans to bolster the sales. For real, someone should seek their fan sites/community out and let em know. Is there any thriving Sega FGC still out there? Hard to find on a blind google search.

No bullshit, are these (pre)rendered...? I assume they are...but that first image looks in-game. If so, wow, this exceeds expectations big time. Who’s the guru that’d know for sure...without giving us fandom assurance?

They may be, but I don't know. A lot can change in these final weeks/months of development, for certain.
Indications seem to be Game Informer played the full game, not a pre-cut demo like conventions or even what we played. So the fact that Ryo and Chai look that much more detailed may not solely be ol' PhotoShop.
Yu stated once that the game was much further along than people realized. Mayhaps he just played it all close to the vest due to his development method not lending itself well to early showings.
