Ok, so, I need to write down my thoughts about :
"Shenhua's model from the last trailer and resulting wondering"
It is a little messy, but maybe there can be something to get out of that.
(Posting it here, because I think this discussion goes beyond the scope of the last trailer)
I have said in the thread about the gamescom event that :
"I still don't like Shenhua having earrings."
First I was thinking it is from my personal opinion that,
earrings are just ruining people's earlobes, and do not make them prettier.
But, now, I think my feeling also comes from the character's characterisation in SH2.
So, yes, SH2-Shenhua is something of a "forest dweller".
So, she would, as shown in SH2 wear clothes suitable for roaming the woods.
(trousers and sleeved-top that are easy to move in + a trusty dress over them)
Now, trailer-Shenhua has those "looking-brand-new" embroiled clothes and jewelery.
They don't seems like impractical clothes.
Yet, they are not the most indicated for walking the woods.
(Scratches would ruin the clothes and earrings are easy to get caught in foliage and branches.)
So, this would really point to Shenhua dressing up to go to the city, at some point.
Now, we haven't really see a Shenhua dress-up similar to SH2's ending.
Does it means, this clothing is still not finished ?
If a SH2-like clothing is actually, not finished, is it because of the long dress ?
Now, I am wondering : Can the engine used, render dresses properly ?
And, if it is a complicated thing, what about Niao-Sun's red dress ?
In the end, I am now wondering about how clothes movement will be rendered.
At worst, Ryo's Jacket may "flow" not better than in SH1&2.
Basically, yes, the "Shenhua prophecy" trailer showed good models,
but it brought the question of how good flowing elements (hair/clothes) will be.
