Question about the Shenmue II Dreamcast English speech mod

Is there any version of Shenmue II for Dreamcast that includes the English battle cries/fighting grunts during free battle? I've been testing with DEmul and even the image files that I've found which supposedly have the full uncompressed English speech from the Xbox version still revert back to Japanese during free battle. Was there some technical reason that prevented people from injecting the English battle cries when they were creating these modded image files? I tried looking through the appropriate thread on the old forums but I couldn't find anyone mentioning this.

I couldn't tell you the reason, but I can say with certainty that a version with 100% Japanese to English replacement does not exist. Two other places where you'll notice that the audio wasn't changed are when Sam and Larry are throwing a bag of cash back and forth at Pigeon Park (right before the non-QTE chase sequence), and when the crowds at the Kowloon street fight locations make noise.
