Learning Cantonese

Plenty of people here will have learned Japanese and I presume there's a handful of native speakers.

But as someone who is very interested in Hong Kong and absolutely loves the way Shenmue II portrayed it, I'd love to learn Cantonese more than any other language at the moment.

Is anyone here a native speaker or does anyone have any recommendation of materials that don't require leaving the United Kingdom?

I'd recommend you try out an app like HelloTalk or Tandem to make some friends who are native canto speakers. I used to be on HelloTalk all the time and it's really easy to find people to have a quick chat or whatever you're looking for.
