Last Time I Saw You is a narrative-style indie game that is scheduled for release in 2024. It was mentioned in the livestream with IGN Japan at TGS 2023 as being inspired by Shenmue (as well as a number of other influences). The artwork and small animations are really nicely done at recreating a vibe of 1980s Japan.

I was able to finish the demo. It's short, maybe 30-40 minutes. Definitely very beautiful art and music. I like how they pay homage to the scene with the two butchers who always fighting each other (from Shenmue 2 ). Hope they finish the project.
