fontdef shenmue 2 header

Hi, Someone know how i can restore header from fontdef files in shenmue 2 ?

I try use the header for fontdef of Shenmue 1 but is not the same, the dds file dont open in editor, someone can help ?

Is it possible you can do a fresh install on another computer and get the files that way to copy back over?

What do you need this for?

If you just want to make subtitle/text changes then there are simpler ways to do this.

Oh okay, that's a good use case.

I'm pretty sure I helped someone do exactly this when they were creating a Russian patch for S1/S2. I'll go and see what I can find.
