Air Twister does look and feel like like a fun spiritual successor to Suzuki's classic Space Harrier.
As a fan and supporter of SEGA, Yu Suzuki and Shenmue I'll be picking up a copy, but in the here and now it's definitely a niche title.
In a year as jam-packed with great releases as 2023 has been, a small Arcade style release with very little exposure and just "okay" reviews will get completely snowed under. What works in Air Twister's favor is that Apple already paid YsNet for timed exclusivity so the wider release doesn't have to sell a ton of copies to be profitable, even at this lower price point.
Either way, I hope the game does as well as it can and its success contributes to us getting Shenmue IV sooner rather than later.
