What song are you listening to right now?

A few things I been relaxing to lately

Been missing rain and fall stuff over here in the southwest compared to back home. Been watching more Bob Ross videos in general since itโ€™s been helpful for stress relief.

They have a new album? Off to Spotify I go...

You bet!

It's really short and there are a couple of songs that (for me) are complete throwaways, but the majority of the tracks are super-fun and one of my top 5 favourites in on this album, so it's absolutely worth a listen.

They're my 2nd favourite band and I am a GARGANTUAN fan, so yeah, this ain't leaving my ears for at least a good 2 months.

Not their best work, but still great stuff! (I know @Reprise isn't a huge fan , but he likes it still :D) Aside from the Bengals game yesterday and Halloween candy being given out/dinner, It's been stuck to my ears, when not sleeping. Thankfully, I've got a shit-ton of paperwork and work in general to do today, where I can listen to this while I work :)
Lol it says the video isn't available, but I still know what this is. It's actually grown on me quite a lot over the last week. It's a great album to be honest.

I'm really enjoying it! Been on repeat all week at work. OOS is SUCH a killer track, definitely among the band's best.

I feel like OOS is my favourite post-2009 Bizkit track with exception of the epic and unbeatable Walking Away. Obviously it's been less than a week, so my opinion might change, but right now I absolutely love it. It's not too dissimilar from the stuff on Gold Cobra, but it just feels more refined, catchy and exciting. Fred sounds so confident on the track.

kinda had no idea these remakes were a thing...not sure I'd like them but this redone music seems alright

didn't like 15 much at all and never got the dlc but this reimagining of the theme was also interesting

I think IX may still be my overall fav game until I decide to actually finish at least one FF game, but IV had some really great music

tbh I don't have that much new to share so have the best deltarune song

I finally got around to listening to that new Limp Bizkit album. Much better than Gold Cobra...that's for sure! This felt like old school Limp Bizkit and I was pretty much in the mood for it. I like the self awareness and I thought it was just a fun listen. Nothing really to rave home about but for what they do? It was perfectly fine.

This has been my other go-to lately

Twelve Foot Ninja - Vengeance.

I really like these guys. Their genre hopping is so damn good and flows really well.

Not been too long since my last post but I've had a lot of new stuff to listen to, starting with a new album by Demondice. Some may know she's not necessarily been inactive, so to speak, but still exciting to hear.

Perhaps because of her I've stumbled across a couple guys who I often listened to with my brother way back in the day. Kinda had no idea they were still around, not that I ever really looked because rap wasn't really my thing for a long time and still for a large part isn't really. I'm sure I've shared this one before here at some point, but this was one of their songs that I can appreciate a little more now that I'm older.

I used to prefer ICP I think, probably because I thought they were funnier and therefor found these guys a bit boring, but it would seem that ever since they left and started their own label, they've had a lot more creative freedom. I have not had the time to listen to it all, but there latest stuff seems to have taken on a bit more of a rock influence which is really interesting. Not everything is great but there's some stuff I've come to like after a few listens.

Some of it comes off almost as cringey as Linkin Park used to but there's some sort of guilty pleasure in some of it. This one's a bit older but I found it pretty touching, and some of it reminded me of that one episode of Twin Peaks season 3

I guess it's just a bit fun to be a bit nostalgic for stuff you've kind of forgotten all about so many years later, and see how things have changed.

The last 10 songs in my current playlist.

Old School Hollywood - System of a Down

Sugar Baby - Dock Boggs

So Now What? - The Shins

Strokin' - Clarence Carter

I know the main reason for the music are their lyrics (which I don't understand lol), but have been super-plugged into King Giddra all week, namely these two albums (I already have listened extensively to Sora Kara no Chikara, their first album; Shinjitsu no Dagan is an absolute banger or, as the kids say nowadays, "slaps)." The song mentioned above has a, "flute version," in the first video:

Many of the tracks have a great vibe and beat, plus many of the choruses are super-catchy. There is another version of, "911," (one of the songs in the second video) that is more well-known and is the much better tune, but the only place I can find it for download (or ripping) is on the YT video and the quality is terrible:

Anyone know where I could possibly find a better-quality version?

There's no place to DL Saishuu Heiki, the second video above (even on iTunes), so I had to rip the YT video and then downloaded Adobe audition and cleaned it up a bit, splitting each track into its own and now have it on my iPod. Took me about 2 hours lol.

I am listening to an album by Astroworld. When I'm sad, it always makes me happy. I also feel excited by the merchandise store.
