So pretty much what I thought. We got it first and once it's finished, Japan gets it. Kind of odd they didn't just simulcast it, but I guess maybe they have their reasons for holding it back?

I wonder if it has something with Crunchyroll paying for it to be made? I know little to nothing about anime and the various platforms, but if they paid for it, surely they would want some kind of exclusivity period for their creation? Yet again, I have no idea if Crunchyroll is used in Japan lol, but it it's not, then it would make sense.

Crunchyroll is not used in Japan. I know. I live in Japan and I have tried signing up for it domestically. I use a VPN.
