So I went ahead and tried out remote play on the Vita. It's not great. The downfall that has always happened with remote play is that the connection is far from ideal even when the handheld is 3 feet away from the PS4.
The other negative that affects most remote play games is that they use the back touch pad over the physical shoulder buttons. Thus, running and the look activation are the back touch pad.
Other than that, it's Shenmue as you would expect but really... given the above two issues, unless this was your only option (maybe your TV broke?), there's zero reason to play the great classics in such a horrible fashion.
