Pre launch it sounded like the game I always dreamt of...

Post launch... well, y’know... it was a bit shit.

The NEXT update though, damn. It’s starting to get decent and I don’t think they’re finished either.

Anyone playing?

The update definitely improved a lot of things, but added some serious performance issues. Still doesn't look interesting to me, they have a long way to go to earn my money after that dumpster fire of a launch...

Edit: Why was this guy banned? Going through his post history seemed fairly tame...
 
I got it specifically for that update. It's not bad but I really dislike their inventory management system which is a serious quality of life issue concerning the game IMO. Seeing how barren and repetitive the galaxy is they really should put more focus on the building mechanics, you spend most of your time resource gathering anyway so it really shouldn't be so annoying to manage.
 
I've always wanted to try it out, and after the latest update I'm seriously considering taking the leap.
