HELP: Need to check if Shenmue Soundtrack CD's are authentic

Hi,

I bought a Shenmue Yokosuka Soundtrack off eBay recently - The seller said ti would be withiout a case but showed pitcures of the inlay... well, it arrived with just the booklets an the CD.

I'm debating if I wanna return them as I got it for a fair price - might ask for a further reduction still considering the false advertising. But I wanted to make sure this set wasn't a bootleg and I wasn't completely conned.

Looking on the VGMDB There is 2 Listings:

They aren't original. The discs look way different from what they should look.
You already went to VGMDB and found it out yourself by the looks of things.

I thought as much the VGMDB didn't have a listing for this A&G-143/144 set when they already they had one for the bootleg, which is why I wanted confirmation before I have to address this with the eBay seller sighs Thanks for the confirmation :)

Well, VGMDB lists the serial number and pictures of the Toshiba EMI original and everything else is just a reproduction.
Might be worth it to bring the information of the one you got forward to them. Anyway best of luck with the seller!
