@g77 I still would contact Paypal and see if they can do anything. If everything you said is 100% true, i'd personally contact the local authorities as well. I'm assuming you have all the dms and evidence, plus his real name etc from Paypal? If so, find out what actions you can take and proceed accordingly

Even if Paypal would accept any claim regarding a friends payment, it's been far too long to do it now. And I don't think local authorities would do anything either, the "seller" is from UK and it's a "low" amount of money, and it's been far too long ago... I simply accept that I've been duped , but at least I want to expose it in the open so everybody knows what happened.
