Blender models?

Ive never found a good way to get the character models from Shenmue 1 and 2. I'm hoping that the HD re-release will make that easier, although I don't have it yet.

I've not got a lot to do at the moment so if anyone has any character models I'd love to try and put them in GMod. Even just a tip would be helpful.

I've tried 3DRipperDX or whatever it's called and it's a complete mess.
