It does, and it kinda helps, on the other hand it leads to crushed whites. So it's either that or crushed blacks. And either way the game gets pretty dark. What's needed is a proper gamma slider.

To be honest, I kinda don't want them to fix the texture filtering glitch. It's more of a curiosity than anything.
